FAQ
Questions we get asked
Cost, timelines, SEO and what happens after launch. Answered plainly, including the ones where the honest answer isn’t what you want to hear.
Getting started
The first conversation, and what we need from you.
Call or send the form. We’ll set up a call — in person if you’re local, which we’d prefer — and go through how you get work now and what’s not working. Pricing is already on the site, so there’s nothing to pry out of us. We’ll just tell you which plan fits and how fast we can have you live.
No, but it speeds everything up. We’ll tell you exactly what we need and when. If you don’t have decent photos we’ll come shoot them — your own work beats stock every time. Nobody ever hired a roofer because of a stock photo of a roof.
No. We’re based in Victor, New York, and most of our clients happen to be close enough to drive to — that’s how word of mouth travels, not a rule we set. Everything we build and run works identically whether you’re twenty minutes away or three states over. The only thing you give up remotely is the option of meeting in person, and plenty of local clients never take us up on that anyway.
We’ll take an honest look. Sometimes the answer is a rebuild. Sometimes it’s just fixing speed and SEO on what you’ve got. And sometimes the site is fine and your Google profile is the real problem. We’ll tell you which, even when it’s the cheap one.
Plans and billing
What it costs, what’s in it, and how the monthly works.
Most local businesses fit one of two monthly plans: Grow at $147 a month or Scale at $297 a month. Those cover the website, hosting, SEO and Google profile, plus lead follow-up and review tools on the higher tier. If you need something outside that — e-commerce, custom functionality, a full rebrand — that’s a quoted project instead, and we quote it after we’ve talked rather than before. See both plans →
Monthly, on autopay. Everything is a flat subscription — $147 or $297 — with no setup fee, no minimum term and no long-term contract. Hosting, updates, security and SEO are already inside that number rather than arriving as separate invoices. Work outside the plans, like e-commerce or a rebrand, is quoted as a project.
You keep the domain — it’s registered in your name from day one — and your content and images are yours. Your site stays live for the rest of the billing period you’ve already paid for, then comes down. If you want to keep the site itself, you can buy it outright for a one-time sum we agree together. No lock-in either way.
You get a seven-day grace period from the failed payment to bring the account current, and nothing changes during it. If it’s still unpaid after that we’ll contact you again before doing anything — we won’t take a site offline without telling you first. Settle up and we’ll get you back online.
Yes, any time. It’s a one-time lump sum and the price is agreed by both of us in writing before anything transfers, because what a build is worth depends on its scope and how long it’s been running. You get the design files, source code and configuration, plus a handover so you or anyone else can run it. Ongoing hosting and SEO would then be separate.
We do. The subscription licenses you the site for as long as it’s active — that’s what keeps the monthly price where it is instead of charging thousands up front. Your domain, content and images are always yours. If you’d rather own the site itself, buy it out and it’s yours.
Either direction, any time. Most people start on Grow and move up to Scale once chasing leads by hand stops being realistic. There’s no penalty for moving back down either.
Grow covers a multi-page website, mobile optimization, hosting, SSL, Google Business Profile optimization, a lead capture form and SEO. Scale adds an AI chat bot on your website, an AI receptionist, weekly blog posts, unlimited sales funnels and a Google review funnel. Google ads, Meta ads and email marketing are add-ons on either plan.
A straightforward site is usually several weeks from first conversation to launch. Bigger builds with e-commerce or custom functionality can run into months. Honestly though, the biggest variable is how fast photos, copy and feedback come back from your end.
The monthly plan is the ongoing cost, and hosting and SEO are already inside it. Your domain renews separately in your own name, roughly $15–20 a year. Ad spend, if you run ads, goes to Google or Meta rather than to us. That’s the whole list.
SEO and results
What actually moves the needle on getting found.
By fixing what lives inside the site: page titles and meta descriptions, heading structure, page speed, image sizing, internal linking, structured data and mobile usability. For a local business we pair that with a properly optimized Google Business Profile, which is usually what drives visibility in the map pack.
Google profile improvements can show up within weeks. Organic rankings usually take months. Anyone promising you page one in thirty days is selling something — we’d rather tell you that now than lose your trust in month three.
No. Neither can anybody else, and you should be a little suspicious of whoever says otherwise. What we can control is making sure nothing on your site is holding you back and that your profile is set up better than the other guy’s. That part we’re good at.
It’s not optional. Most local searches happen on a phone, and Google looks at the mobile version of your site first. If it’s awkward on a phone it costs you customers and rankings at the same time. Everything we build starts mobile and gets tested on real devices.
After launch
What happens once the site is live.
We stay on it. Updates, fixes and questions afterwards are part of the deal, not a new invoice. You’ll have both our numbers, and whoever answers is whoever built it.
If that matters to you, tell us at the start and we’ll build it on a platform you can edit. If you’d rather never touch it, we’ll handle changes for you. Both are fine — it’s just better to decide before we build.
A full-service agency covers design and development, UX/UI, e-commerce, responsive layouts, SEO, content, branding and logo design, maintenance, and hosting and security. We do all of that, plus Google Business Profile setup, paid ads, social media and streamlining the software you run the business on.

First conversation is free and there’s no pitch deck. We’ll tell you what we’d do, what it costs, and whether you actually need us.
